Capcom has shared a roadmap for content coming to Monster Hunter World over the course of the next few months. The big news, outside of the content itself, is the fact that PC and console update schedules will finally sync up, beginning April. Since the original game’s release, PC players had to wait for their platform’s version of the main game, content updates, as well as in-game events. This made it a bit awkward to follow development, as each track had its own schedule. Before content updates start rolling out, the Grand Appreciation Fest will kick off simultaneously across all platforms, January 24 to February 13. Celebrating the game’s second anniversary, Grand Appreciation Fest will be available across the main game, as well as Iceborne. It’ll be an opportunity for players to get new layered armour and unique gear. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. February also sees the start of the Raccoon City event, which lets you craft Leon and Claire armour. Later in February, PC players will have another event to look forward to with the Holiday Joy Fest, itself adding more layered armour to earn. March 12 marks the release of the second major content update on PC. This update adds Stygian Zinogre, and the Safi’jiiva Siege to the game. The Guiding Lands will be expanded yet again, with the Tundra Region. In April, PC will be getting consoles’ March updates, as well as another patch. Expect two new monster variants, and Arch-Tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters. This is when all three versions will be in sync. May and June will see the return of a classic monster, and the arrival of a new one - one again across all three platforms. More details on those to be shared closer to launch.
